WHAT IS STRENGTH & CONDITIONING TRAINING?

Strength and conditioning Training is a dynamic and rigorous fitness regimen that truly challenges your body and mind. It is a combination of compound functional movements performed at a high intensity, making every workout a unique and invigorating experience. Each session brings a new set of exercises and challenges, but you can usually anticipate a mix of cardiovascular movements such as running or rowing, combined with the use of diverse equipment like medicine balls, barbells, and kettlebells. OUR TRAINERS

At Northern Warrior, we take pride in our trainers who are not only experienced but also specifically trained to provide you with the best coaching during your workouts. They are dedicated to guiding you through each exercise, ensuring that you extract the maximum benefit from every single minute you spend at our facility. We understand the importance of technique, which is why each WOD (workout of the day) includes a dedicated session where our members have the opportunity to practice and perfect each movement. We believe that every individual has their own unique pace, and that's why all our workouts can be tailored to suit your personal needs and abilities. We want to emphasize that there is no judgment here – there is no such thing as "getting it wrong." Our trainers are solely focused on helping you achieve your fitness goals and ensuring that you perform each exercise correctly, thus maximizing the benefits you derive from your workouts.

FOR BEGINNERS

We don’t ask our members to sign up for long contracts, but even so, it can be daunting to try a new gym for the first time. Which is why you can come and try Northern Warrior on a 30-day trial. Remember, every member was once a beginner and will encourage, support and motivate you as you build confidence and progress through your workouts.

ATHLETES

If you’re already into S&C Bias training but are looking for a change; maybe you need a gym closer to you in Cumbria, or want to push yourself at a larger gym? Our Introductory sessions are open to you too. We’d love to show you around our extensive gym floor and talk to you about what we can offer!
